MARINERS’ FISHING LEADER BOARD

Cape May Marine Yacht Sales invites you to compete in their South Jersey fishing leader board.
There are prizes for the heaviest fish during the season for all of the following species:

Striped Bass	Joe Smith  (xx lbs)

The leaders will be posted each week in the Cape May County Herald and posted daily at www.mymarinersgroup.com . There is no fee to enter. The winners prizes for each species includes:

 

• Sea Gear Marine Supply, Cape May ($25 gift certificate)
• The Pilot House restaurant, Cape May ($25 gift certificate)
   
• A "Fishing Champion" T-shirt
• A framed winner certificate

Contest Rules
Anglers must be a member of the Mariners Group to enter the contest. There is no charge for membership in 2007. The Mariners' Group provides members with access to social, educational and competitive events as well as membership privileges via retailer and services discounts.

Fish being entered must have been caught while onboard a privately owned vessel in the coastal or bay waters within 60 miles of the Cape May bell buoy.

Fish being entered in the contest must be recorded at one of the following weigh stations.

Jim’s Bait & Tackle, Cape May;
Sterling Harbor Bait & Tackle, Wildwood;
Moran’s Dockside, Avalon Sport Fishing Center

Entries must be made by the following dates for each species:
June 30: black drum, spring striped bass (early season)
Sept 30: fluke, sea bass, dolphin, wahoo
Oct. 30: tuna, tautog, weakfish
Dec. 1 : striped bass(late season), bluefish
